From Kathmandu, we will fly through beautiful scenery to Lukla, where our trip will start. We started our walk toward Phakding as soon as we landed at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. The hike provides stunning views of the mountains and verdant surroundings. We will go around 8 kilometers to Phakding in about 3 hours. As you spend the night in a cozy lodge, unwind and get used to the altitude.
We proceeded on our way toward the lovely Namche Bazaar after leaving Phakding. This path is charming since it passes through quaint towns, fantastic suspension bridges, and dense stands of rhododendron blooms. Today we will entter Sagarmatha national park from Monjo.
We will get to admire and enjoy the breathtaking natural surroundings as we ascend toward Namche Bazaar, the entrance to the Everest area. The elevation will be slow, enabling us to completely take in the splendor of the surroundings as we go. We go from Tengboche to Dingboche, located at a height of 4410 meters. The route passes through the picturesque Sherpa village Pangboche, mountain forests, and natural settings. When you arrive at Dingboche, marvel at the stunning views of the tall peaks, such AmaDablam Island peak and part of Lhotse.
We set out on a walk to Nagerjun Hill and then back to Dingboche to better acclimatize. This trek is approximately 4-5 hours & covers a distance of about 4 -5 kilometers. We leave Dingboche behind and continue on our journey toward Lobuche after breakfast. The route is a Gentle ascent till Thukla, providing breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. After Shukla, we will have to climb Lonuche. We trek for roughly 8- 9 Kilometers over 5 – 6 hours before arriving at Lobuche, which is located at a height of 4910 meters.
