Essential Trip Information for  Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek:

We may need to alter our intended routes due to the quickly changing weather conditions in the Himalayas. You may read some general Information for this trip here under.

Special Note for Manaslu Region Trekkers:

We prioritize your safety all the time while traveling with Ambition Himalaya Treks & Expeditions. We want our valuable guests and staffs to be safe thus we have given full authority to your tour leaders to modify, cancel or update any part of the itinerary if it is considered necessary due to safety concerns. Ambition Himalaya promises that we will do our best to stick with planned itinerary. However, natural disasters, weather disturbances, health conditions or any other mishap may force us to change the planned itinerary and we hope you understand these concerns. Our leaders will give you necessary information and discuss with you before changing the itinerary.

Some itineraries include an extra day in the trek as a buffer in case of delays, while others do not. However, if someone get sick in the trekking and rest and any other cause or you like the places and want to add some more days etc., we recommend that you add a couple of extra days to the end of your trip in case of any delays. Extra days should always be added at the conclusion of the journey rather than the beginning.

Pre -Trip Meeting:

Ambition Himalaya hosts the Pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu 1st or 2nd (depends on Itinerary) day of the itinerary. Trekkers introduce with trek leader (guide). We will provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions about Around Manaslu Treks. The pre-trip meeting covers personal equipment, acclimatization, and to introduce you to another team member. Ambition Himalaya hopes pre-trip meetings have excellent, informative, supportive.

Food for the trek to Manaslu or tsum valley Region or Around Manaslu Trek

The names of the most popular meals in the area are listed below. During this trip, we have access to a sizable variety of food options on the tea house menus that are created and prepared by the local Village management.

Breakfast staples include Tibetan Breads, and Chapati with Cheese (dry bread- a local wheat bread), oatmeal, peanut butter and honey French toast, Hash brown, fried corn flakes Pancakes, milk-based porridge, scrambled and cooked eggs, Muesli, etc available and for the hot drinks tea coffee, hot Chocolate etc.

For The lunch choices include a variety of thukpas (noodle soups), dal and bhat (a traditional Nepalese dish), momos (dumplings), Tibetan bread (chapati), macaroni, spaghetti, variety of soups, and potato dishes, as well as, rice with curry, spring rolls, and desserts.

For Dinner selections include Momos (dumplings), various varieties of Thukpa (noodle soup), Dahl and Bhat (a traditional Nepalese dish), Tibetan / chapatti bread, Macroni, Spaghetti, variety of soups, steaks, and potato items, rice with curry, spring rolls, desserts items, as well as hot and cold beverages.

Meat in mountainous regions is unclean and unhealthy. However, we’d like to convince you to abstain from eating meat, drinking alcohol, and smoking.

Options for desert and snacks include rice pudding, apple pie, fruit-flavored Snickers or Mars bars, popcorn.

Options for hot drinks include hot chocolate, Coffee, mint, ginger, and green, lemon honey teas.

Ambition Himalaya’s Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), a medical condition that can be fatal when brought on by climbing too quickly, is the subject of the Manaslu area Trek program. Less oxygen is present in the air in higher mountainous areas. If hikers want to be safe on any Around Manaslu or Tsum valley Trek itinerary. In the atmosphere with less air, their bodies require a few days to recover. Physical Conditions:

Ordinarily, the entire Manaslu or Tsum valley Trek, Walkers who are in good physical shape can do this. The traveler must be in good physical and mental health. Most hikes are between five and six hours, but some days can last up to seven. It is a good idea to get regular exercise leading up to your vacation to prepare for it. Staff Arrangement and Insurance:

Ambition Himalaya crew works hard to make your journey successful, fun, and unforgettable. They are kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and careful. Your visits are led by the most qualified and experienced guide (guide). He had a wealth of knowledge. He is familiar with Nepal’s culture, ecosystem, flora, fauna, geography, and history. Our leaders and guides have received thorough training in a variety of areas, including hospitality, first aid, language, and government-approved trekking guide courses. The Company has insurance coverage for the Staff, Guide, and Porters.

Porter Care:

We provide a variety of itineraries, some of which do not include porters, but we may make arrangements if you so like. Additionally, we include porters in some itineraries. Adventure is what trekking is. Porters must work very hard at their jobs. They transport supplies and luggage for trekkers, facilitating an easy and comfortable route over the isolated mountains of the Everest region. We make sure that all of our porters are properly paid and trained.  We ask all trekkers to limit their bag weight to between 15 and 25  kilograms per porter to carry. We support the work of the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG), Provides help and advice to those organizations to improve the working conditions of the porters on whom we depend. We support the International Porter Protection Group’s (IPPG) efforts to help the organizations that rely on porters by offering assistance and guidance.


Ambition Himalaya offers you a standard tourist accommodation in Kathmandu, but if you’d prefer a 4 or 5-star hotel, we can arrange one as well. You could inform us. Additionally, all lodging for hikers in the Manaslu is a twin-sharing guesthouse, lodge or some places Home stay included in the tour price. We will make the lodge available to you and your party every day in the area (In some places rooms cannot be booked in advance).

Trekking Grade:

The trek onto the highest mountain in the nation is a long, moderately Easy to challenging  one. Therefore, passengers need extra stamina, and the trip is actually exhausting because it involves 5-8 hours (about) of daily walking on rocky edges. No prior experience is necessary, however you must be in good physical condition if you regularly exercise. This excursion is for you if you enjoy walking at high altitudes.

Visa to enter Nepal 

You can get a visa at Kathmandu airport upon arrival. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to have some waiting time in the queue for obtaining your visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy.

When and where should you arrive?

Please make sure to reserve a flight from and to Kathmandu International Airport.

A person holding “Ambition Himalaya Treks & Expeditions” sign card or your name will meet you outside the Kathmandu international airport terminal and take you to the hotel.

Currencies accepted in Nepal:

The following major currencies are accepted for both VISA and in general: USD, Pound, AUD, and EUR. In Kathmandu, there are lots of ATMs, and many restaurants accept credit cards, even though there aren’t many stores that do. Please be aware that the trekking area only accepts Nepali Rupees.
