Gokyo Lake, Chola Pass and Everest Base Camp Trek, one of the longest trekking routes of Everest trekking regions numbers of adventure opportunities for adventure seekers. Everest region is popular all over the world for adventure holidays around Khumbu valley of Everest region. This trekking route connects with all long and short trekking routes of Everest region. There are several trekking routes in Everest Region but Everest base camp trek is the widely recognized trekking and most popular among all. This trekking can be done as per the availability of clients but a minimum of 16 days are required to complete the trek. Normally, we can see people doing this trek from 16 to 20 days. Gokyo Lake, Chola Pass and Everest Base Camp Trek offers you very close views of silver mountains in front of you which includes the highest peak of the world Mount Everest, Gokyo Peak, Cho La, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse etc. Everest region offers you numbers of adventurous ways to explore whilst of the trek. The below itinerary is prepared with full acclimatization duration and was prepared by widely experienced trekking guides being experienced for more than 15 years. Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar [3,440M / 11286FT] 6-7 hours walk
Day 03: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, explore around
Day 04: Trek to Dole [4100m / 13,451FT] 5-6 hours walk

Important Note:

The flight between Kathmandu and Lukla where the trek starts is generally reliable but if the weather is bad all flights will be delayed or canceled for the day. In the event the flight is cancelled we will attempt to get you on a chartered helicopter but you are responsible for the extra costs in this event which can range from $200 to $600 or more depending on the number of people on the flight.

We in some itinerary schedule one extra day into the trek already as a buffer day in case of delays and in some Itineraries do not have extra day after trek but as flights can at times be delayed for several days we suggest you add a couple of extra days at the end of your trip in case of any delays. Extra days should always be scheduled at the end of the trip and not the start.

Regarding personal equipment all trekkers need to bring with you a pair of well broken trek Boot, sleeping bag, down Jacket, pullovers, neck scarf, etc. for Evening/night/morning use, Sun Hat, casual warm clothing for day use, some pairs of good quality socks . Apart from above please bring slippers, suntan lotions and personal medication.
