Ruby Valley Ganesh Himal Trek, done around the central himalayan part of Nepal is one of the less popular but worth trekking routes in Nepal. Ganesh Himal Trekking is old trekking route but still hasn’t got much popularity like other himalayan treks of Nepal. The name ‘Ganesh’ refers to Hindu God Ganesha; the god with the head of an elephant. The Ganesh himal range can also be seen from Kathmandu and this trek gives plenty eye-catching views of Himalayan snow-capped peaks in Nepal. Ruby Valley Ganesh Himal trekking route is rich with flora and fauna including many precious himalayan herbs, also with various ethnic groups, specially 'Tamang's inhabited. Mostly the trek passes through Tamang villages so you have a lot of chances to experience typical traditional Tamang culture in the heart of beautiful ranges in the Himalayas.
